Wings Playoff Updates

Unless Nashville loses their last game of the season against Colorado and Detroit beats Chicago, Nashville will earn the 4th seed and home-ice advantage against the 5th seed.  Detroit has a 2 point lead over Chicago, meaning Detroit would have to lose in regulation time to maybe fall to the 6th seed.  This is due to the point for making overtime would put the Wings a point ahead of Chicago for the 5th seed.  If Detroit loses to Chicago in regulation both teams will have the same number of points (101) and wins without a shootout (39).  This means that you have to go to number 3 on the NHL playoff tie-breaker- season series.  This would give the Blackhawks the nudge into the 5th seed since they currently lead the season series 3 games to 2.  If Detroit falls to the 6th seed, they will play the Pacific Division Champion, which as of now is the LA Kings, but could easily be Phoenix, or possibly San Jose.  Obviously none of this matters if Detroit takes care of business and defeats Chicago.  That being said, I'd like some feedback on the following question.

Would you rather have Detroit open the playoffs on the road against Nashville or on the road against the Pacific Champion?
